If you have any questions about modding that the guides didnt not explain or explain well enough then ask here and I or someone else on the team will answer to the best of their ability.

Question: What are vertex wights? Answer: I think it is what vertex is conected to which bone, if you want to connect a vertex to a bone then you have to change the weight to one to make it work. (not a clear answer, i know what it is but i cant really say it)

Well the program itself costs over 600$$ USD But you can download the trial and then just buy a licence fo a TON less money.

Go here: www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Editors/3D-Studio-Max.shtmlThen just install it, wait for the trial too time out, then buy the extended licence. I'm not exactly sure how mush it is, but I know it's ALOT cheaper than buying the whole program with all the materials and stuff. Not to mention how fun and easy it becomes after about 30 days pass, I created tons of stuff with it but I still can't do human models. Mind you it does get frustrating. But too ease this just go here www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/3DS-MAX/1They have tons of tutorials and forums too ask questions and stuff.

hi im new to modding and i was trying to mod the faction symbols and when you launch the game and go to the menu to choose the faction i keep getting a white or black square around the symbol. It's the same when the symbol comes up when its loading. I followed the Shield Graphics in Faction selection and Custom Battles tutorial by Pricne Laridus Konivaich. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think that they are pretty similar, but I like Adobe photo shop because of the magic wand tool you can find free trails for it all over the place.
